Alchemy and Kabbalah in the Tarot: Preface

Preface

Adorable and immortal Beings,

Greetings and adorations,

Beloved disciples,

There are two types of Kabbalists: intellectual Kabbalists and intuitive Kabbalists. The intellectual Kabbalists are Black Magicians, whilst the intuitive Kabbalists are White Magicians.

Alchemy and Kabbalah in the Tarot: Arcanum 1

Arcanum 1

This Arcanum is represented by the Magician. The Holy Eight, symbol of the infinite, appears above the head of the Magician; the Holy Eight encloses, defines, and joins the magnetic currents of the mind that deals with dream consciousness with the mind that deals with vigil consciousness. This sign joins or separates all of the elements which are controlled by the atomic energy, if it is traced with the middle finger, index finger and the thumb over the surface of the cardiac plexus.

Now let us study the magical equilibrium of the Second Arcanum of the Tarot.

The physical body is organized by the elements. The Innermost emanated from the Inner Star that has always smiled upon us; He is positively polarized. The physical body is the negative shadow of the Innermost.

Arcanum 3
