The Perfect Matrimony: The Work with the Demon

The Work with the Demon

The awakening of the Kundalini and the dissolution of the “I,” precisely form the fundamental basis of all profound Realization of the Self.

In this chapter we shall deal with the theme of the dissolution of the “I.”  This is definitive for final liberation.

The “I” is the demon that we carry within.  Concerning this affirmation, we can say that the work of the dissolution of the “I” is really the work with the demon.  This work is very difficult.  When we work with the demon, tenebrous entities usually launch terrible attacks against us.  This is really the Path of the Astute Man, the famous Fourth Path, the Path of Tao.

Origin of the “I”

The origin of the sinful “I” lies in lust. The ego, Satan, is subject to the Law of the Eternal Return of all things. It returns to new wombs in order to satisfy desires.  In each one of its lives, the “I” repeats the same dramas, the same errors.  The “I” complicates itself over time, each time becoming more and more perverse.

The Death of Satan

The Satan that we carry within is composed of atoms of the Secret Enemy.  Satan had a beginning; Satan has an end.  We need to dissolve Satan in order to return to the Inner Star that has always smiled upon us.  This is true Final Liberation.  Only by dissolving the “I” can we attain Absolute Liberation.

The Intimate Star

Within the unknowable depths of our Divine Being we have a completely Atomic Internal Star.  This Star is a Super-Divine Atom.  The Kabbalists denominate this Star with the sacred name of AIN SOPH.  This is the Being of our Being, the great Reality within ourselves.

God Does Not Evolve

God does not need to evolve because He is perfect.  God does not need to perfect Himself.   He is perfect.  God is our Inner Being.

Evolution and Devolution

We, the Gnostics have never denied the Law of Evolution; however, we do not accept such a mechanical law as dogma.

The Laws of Evolution and Devolution are the mechanical axis of Nature. For every ascent there follows a descent. For every evolution, there is a specific, corresponding devolution.

There exists evolution in the seed which germinates, also in the shoot which grows and develops, consequently in the plant which bears fruit.

There exists devolution in the tree that no longer grows, withers away, becomes old and dies.

Total Revolution

We need a tremendous revolution of consciousness to be able to return to the Inner Star that guides our Being.  Total revolution exists when we dissolve the “I.”

Pain

Pain cannot make anyone perfect.  If pain could perfect anyone, then all humanity would already be perfect.  Pain is a result of our own errors.  Satan commits many errors.  Satan reaps the fruits of his errors.  This fruit is pain.  Therefore, pain is satanic.  Satan cannot perfect himself, nor can he make anyone perfect.  Pain cannot make anything perfect, because pain is of Satan.  The great Divine Reality is happiness, peace, abundance, and perfection.  The great Reality cannot create pain. What is perfect cannot create pain.  What is perfect can only engender happiness.  Pain was created by the “I” (Satan).

Time

Time is Satan; Satan is memory.  Satan is a bunch of memories.  When a human being dies, only his memories remain. These memories constitute the “I,” the me, myself, the reincarnating ego.  Those unsatisfied desires, those memories of yesterday, reincarnate.  Thus, this is how we are slaves of the past.  Therefore, we can be sure that the past is what conditions our present life.  We can affirm that Satan is time.  We can also state, without fear of being mistaken, that time cannot liberate us from this valley of tears because time is Satanic.  We have to learn to live from moment to moment.  Life is an eternal now, an eternal present.  Satan was the creator of time; those who think they will liberate themselves in a distant future, within some millions of years, with the passing of time and the ages, are sure candidates for the Abyss and the Second Death, because time is of Satan.  Time does not liberate anyone.  Satan enslaves; Satan does not liberate.  We need to liberate ourselves right now.  We need to live from moment to moment.

The Seven Fundamental Centers of Man

All human beings have seven, basic fundamental centers.

  1. The Intellectual Center, located within the brain
  2. The Motor Center (or the center of movement), located in the upper part of the dorsal spine
  3. The Emotional Center located in the solar plexus and in the specific nervous centers of the Grand Sympathetic Nervous System
  4. The Instinctive Center, located in the lower part of the dorsal spine
  5. The Sexual Center, located in the genital organs
  6. The Superior Emotional Center
  7. The Superior Intellectual Center

These last two can only express themselves through the authentic Astral Body and the legitimate Mental Body.

Technique for the Dissolution of the “I”

The “I” exercises control over the five inferior centers of the human machine. These five centers are: Intellectual, Motor, Emotional, Instinctive, and Sexual.

The two centers of the human being that correspond to Christ consciousness are known in the occult as Christ-mind and Christ-astral.  These two superior centers cannot be controlled by the “I.” Unfortunately, the superior mind and the superior emotion still do not have these precious Christic vehicles at their disposal.  When the Superior Mind is clothed in the Christ-mind, and when the Superior Emotion is invested with the Christ-astral, we are indeed elevated to the state of true human being.

Whosoever wants to dissolve the “I” must study its functionalism within the five inferior centers.  We must not condemn the defects; we must not justify them either.  What is important is to comprehend them.  It is urgent to comprehend the actions and reactions of the human machine.  Each one of these five inferior centers has a whole set of extremely complicated actions and reactions.  The “I” works with each one of these five inferior centers. Therefore, by deeply comprehending the whole mechanism of each one of these centers, we are on our way to dissolving the “I.”

In everyday life, two people will react differently in front of any given representation. What is pleasant for one person can be unpleasant for the other.  The difference could be that sometimes one person can judge and see with the mind while the other might be touched in his sentiments. We must learn to differentiate between mind and sentiments. The mind is one thing and the sentiment is another. Within the mind there is a whole set of actions and reactions that must be comprehended. Within the sentiment there are attachments that must be crucified, emotions that must be carefully studied and, in general, a whole mechanism of actions and reactions that are easily confused with activities of the mind.

Intellectual Center

This center is useful within its own orbit. What is dangerous is to want to remove it from its gravitational field.  The great realities of the Spirit can only be experienced with the consciousness.  Therefore, those who attempt to investigate the transcendental truths of the Being based on pure reasoning, make the same mistake as someone who ignores the use and management of modern scientific instruments, and attempts to study infinitely small life forms with a telescope and infinitely large life forms with a microscope.

Movement

We need to self-discover ourselves and to deeply comprehend all of our habits.  We must not allow our life to continue to unfold mechanically.  It seems incredible that, living within the patterns of our habits, we do not know the patterns which condition our lives.  We need to study our habits; we need to comprehend them.  These habits belong to the activities of the center of movement. It is necessary that we self-observe the way we live, act, dress, walk, etc. The center of movement has many activities.  Sports also belong to the center of movement. When the mind interferes with this center, it obstructs and causes damage to it, because the mind is very slow and the center of movement is very fast.  Any typist works with the center of movement and can naturally make mistakes at the keyboard if his mind intervenes.  A person driving an automobile could have an accident if the mind intervenes.

Emotional Center

The human being stupidly wastes the sexual energy through the abuse of violent emotions, movies, television, football games, etc.  We must learn to dominate our emotions; we must save our sexual energy.

Instinct

Various instincts exist.  The instinct of preservation, the sexual instinct, etc.  Many perversions of instinct also exist.  Deep within every human being there are sub-human, instinctive, brutal forces that paralyze the true spirit of love and charity.  These demonic forces must first be comprehended, then brought under control and eliminated.  These bestial forces are: criminal instincts, lust, cowardliness, fear, sexual sadism, sexual bestialities, etc.  We must study and deeply comprehend these sub-human forces before we can dissolve and eliminate them.

Sex

Sex is the fifth power of the human being.  Sex can liberate or enslave the human being.  No one can attain integrity, no one can be deeply Self-realized without sexual energy.  No celibate person can attain total Realization of the Self. Sex is the power of the Soul.  The integral human being is achieved with the absolute fusion of the masculine and feminine poles of the Soul.  Sexual force develops, evolves and progresses on seven levels (the seven levels of the Soul).  In the physical world, sex is a blind force of mutual attraction.  In the Astral World, sexual attraction is based on the affinity of types according to their polarities and essences.  In the mental world, sexual attraction occurs according to the laws of mental polarity and affinity.  In the causal plane, sexual attraction takes place on the basis of conscious will.  It is precisely on this Plane of Natural Causes where the complete union of the soul is consciously performed.  Indeed, no one can attain the complete glory of the Perfect Matrimony without having attained this fourth state of human integration.

We need to deeply comprehend the sexual problem.  We need to be integral. We must transcend the mechanization of sex.  We need to know how to procreate children of wisdom.  In the supreme moment of conception, human essences are completely open to all types of influences.  The state of purity of the parents and their willpower used in order to not spill the Cup of Hermes is all that can protect the spermatozoon and the ovum from the danger of infiltration by the subhuman substances of the bestial egos which want to reincarnate.

The Absolute Death of Satan

We discover the whole process of the “I” by comprehending the intimate activities of each one of the five inferior centers. The result of this self-discovery is the absolute death of Satan (the tenebrous lunar “I”).

Adultery

Since the woman’s body is a passive and receptive element, it is clear that she collects and stores the results of the sexual acts with all those men who committed adultery with her.  Those results are atomic substances from the men with whom she has had sexual intercourse.  Therefore, when a man has sexual intercourse with a woman who has been with another man or other men, he then absorbs the atomic essences of the other men and poisons himself with them.  This is a very grave problem for those brothers and sisters who are dissolving the “I” because then, not only do they have to fight against their own errors and defects, but moreover, against the errors and defects of those other men with whom the woman had sexual intercourse.

The Root of Pain

The “I” is the root of pain.  The “I” is the root of ignorance and error.  When the “I” is dissolved, the Inner Christ is all that remains within us.

We need to dissolve the “I.”  Only by dissolving the “I” can ignorance and error disappear.  When the “I” disappears, all that remains within us is that, which is called love.

When the “I” is dissolved, authentic and legitimate happiness comes to us.

Only by totally annihilating desire can we attain the dissolution of the “I.”  If we want to dissolve the “I,” we must be sour like the lemon, to be displeased with the horrifying  “I,” the horrifying Satan, the horrible demon that has made our life so bitter and nauseating.
